According to the RESNA standard, ski bindings for monoskis are not intended to release. This plate under most circumstances prevents the toe binding from releasing.
It has been thoroughly tested by Chris Devlin-Young during the 2012-13 season. It is made of a stainless specialty alloy of high strength yet high ductility. It mounts under the binding. Professional mounting, using longer bolts, is recommended. Contact us if you are interested!
